A Poor Picture Of The Washington Monument |
On Friday, my mother and I went to see Chris Tucker do stand-up comedy. For people that don't know who, he played Smokie on Friday, and Detective Carter on Rush Hour. I was skeptical about going because I'd never seen him perform. I was used to watching him on television. Since I had no clue I told my friend "He better be funny." Lo and behold, Chris Tucker was hilarious! I don't think there was a moment when I wasn't chuckling.
Now I've been to D.C. before, but for some reason, on this trip, I fell in love with the district. As soon as I hit the D.C./P.G County line, I sensed a whole different vibe. While driving to Constitution Hall, We rode through a part a D.C. that reminded me of a mini Times Square. It was so chic! The lights, modern architecture, and the stores enticed me. I also passed the Mexican and Republic of the Congo embassies.
When I entered D.C., I wasn't thinking about taking pictures of all the things I was seeing, so unfortunately, the picture above is the only picture I captured. =(
