SAT Scores

So, I took the SAT's in October. The scores come out tomorrow and I'm nervous. I prayed that I got a much higher score than the first time. I wasn't nervous while taking the test, I'm hoping that was a plus. Last week, I watched The Perfect Score with the study skills class that I tutor. I thought it was a really good movie. Now, every time I think of the SAT's, I think of that movie. Basically, there were six students who stole the answers to the SAT. In the process they got to know each other, and studied for the test without even knowing it. Even though the test doesn't determine my future, I act as if they do. I wonder why students across the country become obsessed with passing this test. Why doesn't this test measure creativity? Why don't they ask us questions that are relevant to our lives, or current events?
If I receive the score I'm aiming for, 1500 or above, I can start applying to my reach schools.
